Deleted objects
An object can be deleted only by the administrator who created it, and only while nothing uses it. Deleted objects stay in the database, appear only here, and can be restored with a reason to the state they had before.

Search public providers
Sends your query to the chosen provider through its admitted route. Records are previewed on the import's own page; nothing is added until you import them.
Use synthetic files only. Preview each record before import. Public provider records go into a public source through its provider search.
Monitor selected queries and feeds. Bibliographic changes create new revisions; earlier records remain. Watches on a synthetic source replay supplied fixtures; watches on a public source query an admitted provider.
A Boolean PubMed search is split into single concepts on this system. Only each concept leaves, one at a time; AND, OR, NOT and parentheses are applied here.
Alerts follow your current source access. They do not change scientific decisions.

Every answer the platform computes for you is a claim: kept once, never changed, citing the run that holds its evidence. Its routing class fixes how it is verified; a claim that is not verified shows why, never a value. A claim is a computation, not measured evidence.

Installed deterministic tools answer computable questions exactly: the platform runs the tool on this host and writes the answer from its result; no model is asked. Ask the same questions in your help chat and the platform answers them the same way. A result is a computation, not measured evidence.
Your investigations, your teams’ investigations and, for an administrator, every investigation. Read only: open one for its question, its owner’s acceptance criteria and its tasks. Each task’s data and results keep their own source checks.

Every task an agent works on, newest first. An agent works on a task under an assignment that the task’s accountable human made; open the task to see its instructions or to end the assignment. A task you may not open shows without its title.

Public data routes
Public data reaches Moonrise only through an admitted route, at a pace below the provider's published limit. Each route has a kind: query routes serve Library searches; release routes (versioned bulk files) and lookup routes (typed public IDs) come later. Admitting a route records who is accountable, the purpose, rights, retention and when requests may leave this system.
Terms and permissions
Every public data route, public release and non-synthetic source with its licence, the terms as read (when, and their digest) and the permission basis Moonrise relies on, and every terms concern with its status and next review. A blocking concern holds its subject: it cannot be admitted or used. A concern grants nothing, and a review records a reading of terms, not legal advice.

Expectations
Expectations start from a data file: check it, review its measured structure, then confirm units, limits, key, minimum rows and intended use. Adopting creates an immutable version; the file is unchanged.Data steward
When a file in a source is checked, the platform creates the file's data-steward task and assigns it to the default data-steward role an administrator chooses in Settings → Agents → Agent roles. For a private file, the data steward explains what Moonrise found. A role never grants source or chat access beyond its task, and runs only after its exact configuration is cleared.

The agents container lists the models of every admitted model server through the model egress proxy, and the local decision models. Refresh does not install or load a model. Loaded marks the models a server reports as loaded now; refreshing only reads that report. A server that does not answer leaves availability unknown. ChatGPT sign-in opens the configured account connector in a browser window. The local Codex connector keeps a separate account for each administrator. Provider credentials stay outside this browser. Account role & lifecycle
Accounts are never deleted. Pausing revokes access until the account is resumed. Archiving revokes access, pauses owned agents and revokes their credentials; restoring returns the account to the state it had before, and each paused agent is resumed explicitly. Pausing, role changes and credential resets take effect on subsequent requests. Earlier work keeps its original author identity. The last active human administrator is protected.
